Slate School is a leader in environmental stewardship, and we created and maintain our school grounds as a nature conservancy. We have an upcoming Nature Conservancy Tour that is free and open to the public on October 14, from 9:00-10:00am.

The tour will meander through a native stand of white pines, across dry and wet meadows, around a pond, and hug the woodland border.  We will share the various ecosystems found throughout our conservation land and share the ways in which our students and faculty care for and interact with these spaces.
